BannerSir Mal

I have trained tops/bottoms/masters/slaves/subs. Been active in the scene on and off for more than 20 years. I am proud to say I am both a memeber of Cirque De Sade, a performance and outreach group, and The Society of Monarchs, a Male Dom fraternal and outreach group. I was active when Janus first came to Los Angeles, and later sporadically after it morphed into Threshold. I was a co-founder ofa BDSM (male top/female bottom), social club called SCORPIO. I have been a panel member and DM at DomCon L.A., a guest on Playboy Radio and a featured guest on Dominate Radio. I am also a member of the Kink-Exploration Society here in Los Angeles.

Most of my play is now done privately or at the Lair De Sade. I am presently mentoring/protecting/training my sub, maria (aka funny brat girl), and considering a slave/pet request from another sub whom I am mentoring.

I am a hedonistic Sadist. Always in search of personal growth and sharing education with other seekers. I am 6' 0", about 205, jawline beard, and reachable at Masteratlarge1, at yahoo. I am partnered with Mistress Ellsee, we are both Dominants and are primary relationship is monogamous. I enjoy contact sports (hair pulling, face slapping, fire play, fisting, spanking, paddling, flogging whipping, knife play, hot wax, etc.), and am not interested in needle or electric play.

I play hard (for those who are experienced), or light (for the newbies). Age/race/experience: unimportant, enthusiasm IS!
BannerOrpheus Black

Orpheus, the founder of Cirque de Sade, got his start in the fetish lifestyle co-hosting the Internet radio show, Severe Society, on the KSEX network. Working closely with a montage of Pro-Doms, Pro-Dommes and Pro-submissives that frequented his internet program, Orpheus was able to incorporate a wide array of fetish and BDSM ideals, principles and philosophies into one practical and applicable personal mythology which has come to be widely respected in the community.

While honing his newly acquired skills on the dark gothic stages of Club Dungeon, Orpheus was heavily influenced by the Hollywood fetish lifestyle and began performing at other local hot spots such as: Bar Sinister, Lair de Sade, Bondage Ball, Passive Arts Studio, and Miss Kitty's Parlor. Orpheus has come to be one of Hollywood's most respected adult performance artists.

Orpheus is also considered a leader in the fire fetish movement because of his innovations on fire cupping (Huoquan Qi), and has invented a new form of erotic fire play called Kagutsuchi no Shodô or "Fire God Writing" which has brought him to the forefront of this new genre.
BannerPatrick Sir

Patrick Sir started playing with rope in 1955 and as a Cub/Boy Scout that could not swim at the time, He was assigned the two tasks of rope/knot tying and fire starter. As it turns out those two areas are highly prized avocations in the BDSM world. By the Time He got to the U. S. Navy He had learned to swim but there were bigger ropes, or lines, in the Navy to play with. It was then He found decorative wrapping with rope.

A few years out of school He got a letter from an old College friend, Brian Tarsis, who happened to be the editor of “Bondage Life”. And at the time Brian was married to Chealsea Pfeiffer, another bondage legend now, but then another old college friend. He helped on a shoot or two when on vacation in the Los Angeles area. When He moved to LA He went to work at Harmony Publications in the Mail room. Of course he had tied many a female by then but that was for fun and not for publication.

He still ties for fun and does rigging occasionally for bondage productions, but only for the pure fun and excitement not for pay. His style is shibari like but not quite. The Western diamond hitch was used by Boy Scouts and Calvary troopers for attaching loads to pack mules. As far bondage goes it has the appearance of Japanese Shibari but is different.

His lessons are generally to share the knowledge of the sensual nature of the medium and the personal connections rope make with its practitioners.

After 50 + years of practice you could say He has it down well.
BannerSilventar

Active since a young age, Silventar has played with many aspects of BDSM skill-sets. Rope being one of his favorites, he has lectured on safety and technique for both traditional rope bondage and suspensions. Although heavily influenced by various Japanese rope techniques, Silventar does not practice any particular tradition of rope bondage. Instead, he focuses on the functionality and the beauty of rope on the human form and expresses his creativity rather than be confined by a particular style.

Silventar has been a semi-professional photographer for over 3 years. His specialty is people photography of all types, particularly rope bondage, fetish, portraiture, and event coverage, however, he also enjoys product photography and nature photography, as well as many other styles. His current work can be seen at www.SilventarPhotography.com, www.myspace.com/silventar, and www.modelmayhem.com/silventar
BannerStrange

Strange, came out from behind closed doors with his freaky ways in 2002 and begin his formal path into the BDSM community. It was through the 12 Step process, that Strange found the freedom to be what he truly was without shame. He started his journey on the Internet reading everything he could about BDSM-D/s. He then hit the road running to explore his real-time local BDSM community. One the first things he noticed was the lack of racial diversity. This was something that he wished to help change.

Strange begin attending workshops and demonstrations at The Lair and Passive Arts every chance he got. Within a short time he began attending play parties at the Lair, watching intently and asking plenty of questions of the players there, he sought and found mentorship in many types and styles of play.

Strange is a jacketed member of Cirque De'Sade (The Black Jacks) a dominant group founded by Orpheus Black, former member and past president of The Brotherhood Of The Circle, and in 2008 became a ringed member of the Society of the Monarchs. Strange is a proud member of the Lair De' Sade Dungeon in North Hollywood where he feeds his public play thirst by playing publicly every chance he gets in his sadistic but sensual style. In 2008, Strange founded the racially diverse play and munch group; The Los Angeles Kink Exploration Society.

Strange is an active member in a couple of 12 Step Fellowships and has spoken across the US, parts of Canada, and the UK. Strange is a budding Fetish and BDSM Photographer and he presented a workshop on Erotic Home Photography at the Black B.E.A.T. Conference in 2006.

Strange is great example of you "can't judge a book by its cover".
BannerThe Valley Dom

Bernie, TheValleyDom, uncovered his Inner Dominant and Sadist in the process of doing The Twelve Steps beginning in 1998. He made his first forays into the BDSM scene in 2000. He began attending the Lair de Sade in 2001, starting his journey of discovery and growth. He quickly became known in the So.Cal BDSM scene through his involvement in SM play, lectures, discussions, demos and seminars, both in person and on several online forums and communities. He is "out" to most people in his life. He has been an advocate of the BDSM way of life and loud defender of the Heterosexual Male Dominant, both in and out of the BDSM community.

The deeper realms of Life, and the Lifestyle, the love, the transformation of boundaries, the emotional growth, and the spiritual experience of D/s and BDSM are what interest TheValleyDom the most (And of course, the hot nasty perverted kinky sex.)

He does not believe that he needs to tear a submissive down to gain authority in her life. He knows that a submissive's devotion and obedience increases through his love, support, guidance and caring. His ultimate focus is towards the mutual growth of both partners. His philosophy is best described in a quote. "A submissive gives me her trust, her heart, her surrender, her obedience, and her body, and it is my responsibility and duty to fulfill her needs, desires and fantasies. To guide her to be the best human, woman, and submissive she can be."

He joined the Conquest Society at its inception. He was honored with an invitation to be a member of The Society of Monarchs in 2003, and has remained a Member in good standing since he received His Monarch Ring. He is also deeply involved in the Men's Movement, and is a long time member of a local Men's Group. This Men's Group promotes the concept of the Authentic Male, He has been intimately involved in the planning, organizing and running of several Men's Retreat weekends.

He is generally acknowledged as a heavy hitting player, focusing mostly on impact scenes, though he is a multi-faceted player, and continues to hone his skills in all areas of the craft
