Saturday, February 7th, 2009 6.30pm – 9.00pm. @ Lair de Sade, North Hollywood. The Society of Monarchs (In association with Lair de Sade) Presents A Live Dom Auction & Toy / Gift Silent Auction! benefiting RevMel & TalkingSexRadio.com (TSR). A valuable local resource, RevMel’s TalkingSexRadio, recently came under attack for its BDSM content. Rev Mel was forced off the host server, denied access to almost all of the site’s content, and forced to recreate the entire online community from scratch. The Society of Monarchs, a Brotherhood of Heterosexual Dominant Men, have stepped forward to offer their assistance. They have organized both a live Dom auction and a silent auction in support of Rev Mel and Talking Sex Radio. The silent auction will contain a wide variety of items, ranging from floggers to books to baked goods. (Please see below for a sample of items and Doms to bid on.) The live Dom auction allows the So. Cal community a unique chance to bid on the Dominant of their choice. The Dominants includes most Monarchs and select non Monarchs (male and female). The Dominant may offer services such as: Play sessions Mentoring Personal 1-on-1 instruction and more! Remember, that it’s YOUR participation in bidding and/or donating that determines the level of success. Come to the Insight, and stay for the auction, or come early for the Unfettered Party, and bid on the Dominant of your choice. You will use bid tokens to bid in the live auction. Here is how you can obtain bit tokens: If you attend Insight or Unfettered (the play party), you get a 100 bid tokens. (Maximum 100 bid tokens even if you attend both) For each $10 you donate, you get 50 bid tokens. Any non-Monarch Dominant (Male or Female Dominants welcome) who offers a service in the live auction will get 100 bid tokens. For each item you donate to the silent auction, you will receive 50 bid tokens. If it the item you donate to the silent auction has a value of more than $75, you will receive 100 bid tokens instead of 50 bid tokens. All silent auction bidding is cash only, and must be paid for at the auction. 100% of the proceeds go directly to TSR to keep quality kink programming on the air.
